HISTORY
ELECTRUMTROFA SOCIETY CONSTITUTION
The company appears on the market in 1991 in the city of Trofa, in Largo Serra, in the parish of Muro, which began by selling electrical equipment to the public.
With a growing range of customers, and the need to invest in new services the company extends its activity to the Assembly, Electrification, Maintenance, Projects and Studies Lighting, ElectrumTrofa, Lda. is formally constituted on November 22, 1999.
Thus begins to have a significant domain in shops, working directly with major brands in nacional and international market.
QUALITY CERTIFICATION
Being the quality one of the main requirements of the company, it engaged in the certification by the standard EN ISO 9001:2000, obtaining the same in April 2004, thus ensuring the quality of service, having as main objective the customers satisfaction.
DEVELOPMENT BECOMES CHANGE
Given the emergent need to optimize the process of maintenance management, in order to monitor the needs of customers and market, it is created G.I.M. - Integrated Management Maintenances, Ltd., on 21 December 2006. This company has a technical team that ensures the maintenance of the customers spaces throughout the country, 24 hours a day.
In 2007, the company gives a "jump" switching facilities, still in the city of Trofa to parish Lantemil, with larger infrastructures which can involve a new concept of lighting, sending their employees, customers and suppliers the notion of TRANSFORMING LIGHT IN CONCEPTS. .
BEST ON INNOVATION
Through studies of the market where the ElectrumTrofa operates, it undergoes constant mutations. With the emergence of new paradoxes, where the behavior of consumption takes a more open line, it was decided to open the doors of the company's virtual marketplace, creating an online store in April 2008 which we subsequently closed and created a new approach with the customer, the proximity.

BRAND ELECTRUM CREATION
In 2010, faced with the crisis that has spread across Europe, ElectrumTrofa felt the need to change its strategy and decided to create their own lighting brand, ELECTRUM brand.
Since then, not only is dedicated to the implementation of electrotechnical projects and electrical installation in shopping stores, as well is dedicated to the sell of lighting products, presenting the customer with the best technical lighting solution.
ELECTRUM GROUP
On 1 January 2011, companies ElectrumTrofa Ltd. and GIM, Ltd. have joined on business group called "Electrum Group". In addition, the company name ElectrumTrofa – Instalações Elétricas, Lda., has changed to: ElectrumTrofa - Iluminação, Lda.
ElectrumTrofa has shown a great growth potential, feeling the need to broaden their horizons and expand internationally, increasing its global market presence. At this time, ELECTRUM products already are in more than 40 countries around the world!
